Since 2013, we have trained 348 professionals, students, volunteers and community residents who live or work in the Southill, Moyross and Ballynanty areas of Limerick City.
These participants completed the following accredited International Institute of Restorative Practices courses: 125 completed Facilitator Skills Training, 159 completed Introduction to Restorative Practices Training, and 64 completed Circles Training. Participants represented 52 organisations across the education, justice and youth sectors.
Interested in training? There will be training offered again by Limerick Restorative Practices Project this Autumn so please e-mail your interest in this as places are likely to be limited. In the absence of training however you can also avail of introductory sessions and/or ongoing mentoring sessions. These can give you some of the basic tools as well as the philosophy of RP and can be a very useful way to intorduce RP into your service or organisation. We can also recommend a number of experienced trainers who work in the local area. Email us for our list of local trainers, or visit the Restorative Practices Ireland website for information on training organisations.
